Opening Hours

Opening Hours lets you define to HirePOS what days you are open for business (Mon-Fri, Mon-Sat, 7 days, etc). This will allow you to prevent your customers from booking hires that Start or End on days that you are not open for business.

Your customers can still book hires that overlap days you are not trading.

This way, you do not end up having to re-schedule collections, returns, and deliveries, or worse, end up with a customer waiting out the front of your closed shop.

You can set your Opening Hours (Trading Days) via Setup > Preferences > Opening Hours or Setup > Preferences > Online Store > Availability(tab) > Opening Hours.

By default, HirePOS will assume that you trade 7 days a week. If this is not the case, simply navigate to Opening Hours as described above, and deselect the days that you are closed.

At present, you are only able to select which days you are open. In future releases, there are plans to incorporate times into this setting.
