Companions in the Online Store

Item Companions can be used in the online store to help ensure your customer is provided with all the relevant options and accessories for the item they are hiring.

Companions can either be optional (the customer can choose to add them to the cart), or required (they will be automatically added to the cart with the master item).

To use companions in the online store, they need to:

• Be assigned to an item via Setup > Items > item > Companions

• Be active in Setup > Preferences > Online Store > Setup Store Items (have a website code)

Required Companions

To make companions required, go to Setup > Preferences > Online Store, and slide the Use required companions toggle to the right.
