Branch Transfers

There are 3 possible scenarios when transferring stock from branch to branch.

  • Transferring a 'single'  item to another branch (Quantity For Hire = 1)
  • In this scenario the Branch dropdown at the top of the Item details screen will switch from one branch to another.
  • Transferring a 'multiple'  item to another branch. (Quantity For Hire > 1)
    In this scenario the quantity of items listed in the 'Branch Quantities' button in the Item details screen will be reduced at the 'from' branch and increased at the 'to' branch.
  • Transferring a Serial Tracking 'multiple' item to another branch. (Quantity For Hire > 1, with serial number tracking)
    In this scenario the Branch listed in the 'Serial Tracking' button that is assigned to that Serial Number will switch from one branch to another.
