Sending SMS in HirePOS

HirePOS integrates with online text messaging providers to provide you with a fast and efficient communication tool for sending SMS to customers, customer contacts, staff, and suppliers.


When you create a new customer via the Sales/Hire > Customer Overview, any phone number you put in the Mobile field will be used for SMS by default.

But, via Setup > Customers > Edit Customer you can also tick the "Use for SMS" checkbox next to Phone 1, or Phone 2, to use those as well.
