Inserting a hyperlink into email templates

Hyperlinks may be inserted into email templates for linking to terms and conditions on your website, general information, or customer feedback forms for example.

  1. Go to Setup > Preferences > Email Templates & Settings.

  2. If you are inserting the link to an email template other than the primary email template, then click the Other Email Templates button towards the bottom and choose a template.

  3. In the Email Message editor, click Insert, then click Link.
    You will see an Insert/Edit Link popup.

  4. Paste or enter a website address in the URL field.
    Optionally you can enter a Title.
    Place a helpful few words in the Text to Display field, or copy the URL to the Text to Display field.

  5. Choose the link to open in the Current Window or in a New Window.

  6. Click the Save button.
