For best quality, whilst maintaining optimal load times, we recommend you upload images with a maximum height or width of around 1280 pixels. The file size of a quality Jpeg image of these dimensions will typically be between 100 KB and 500 KB.
Regardless of the ratio you decide to use, it is highly recommended that you maintain that ratio for all images you upload to your online store. This will ensure you provide a clean, aligned, and visually pleasing user experience for your customers.
If you are having trouble deciding on a ratio for your images, consider trying a Square (1:1) image ratio. This will maximize your viewable area and is a modern, clean approach seen on many platforms as standard, such as Facebook and Twitter.
