Google Single Sign On

HirePOS allows you to sign on with your Google account. This gives you access to Google identity platform features such as passwordless sign-in and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication).

You must set up any new HirePOS user accounts initially with a HirePOS username and password. After the initial setup, you can then connect your Google user account to the HirePOS user account. Once you sign into HirePOS with Google, the Single Sign On method will then be enforced, and you can no longer use your HirePOS username and password to sign in. This is because Single Sign On is far more secure than the traditional username/password way of signing in.

We highly recommend continuing with the Single Sign On, however, if for some reason you no longer have a Google account and need to revert back to the username/password method, then you must formally send a request from your user email address to hirepos@hirepos.com.au to have the SSO deactivated. After we action this, if you successfully sign on with Google (or any SSO again), then the traditional username/password method will be disabled again.
